Dedham Pottery Standing Rabbit Flower Frog

Dedham Pottery standing rabbit figural flower frog.  Dedham Pottery was formed by the illustrious Robertson family in Dedham, MA in 1896, and became very successful with their line of crackle glaze pottery.  Figural pieces are much less common than table ware.
This piece has a fine crackle glaze, which is of course intentional on this ware.  The rabbit is beyond cute, with his whiskers, eyes and nose picked out in blue.
This piece is undamaged, as made. There is glaze separation where the figure attaches to the base;  this is "in the making" and does not present any problem, the rabbit is quite firmly attached.
