Here is an interesting tool.  Not completely sure what it is or used for, but has space for three lines, each space with two spring loaded tabs that are set to prevent slipping backward.  Marked James Channon Mfg Co Chicago.  Measures about 4 by 4-1/2" not counting the loop at the top.  Lines look like they could be up to 3/4" in diameter.  No apparent damage.
