Large Snatch Block B & L B CO Boston & Lockport Block Co STAR Brand Pulley

While there are a number of B. & L. B. Co. pulley blocks on the market, there are not many snatch blocks available especially one as large as this.  Total length from bottom of the block to the top of the shackle is 17 3/4".  This weighs a hefty 21 lbs.  Measures 6 3/4" wide x 4 7/8".  As shown, this has Graphite Bronze bearings, is 10 ton rated and has the STAR stamped on the side.  Not only is the company initials stamped on the side, but they are also cast on the cast iron cotter key "keeper".  The pulley wheel measures 1 7/8" wide and the diameter is approximately 6".  The only apology is the chip out of the pulley wheel as shown.  In pricing this we considered the scarcity of the item as well as the chip in the wheel.  Feel free to make a reasonable offer.  A great item for a larger size vessel or to use in your boat house or for display in your collection.
