    Old vintage hardware and antiques from the 1700's up to and including some modern items
    old Well Pulley LARGE 12” wheel rustic vintage crack 1800’s 48’ Barn Hemp rope
    These old pulleys were used in barns to lift hay.
    This pulley is in good condition
    with one cracked spoke in the wheel.
    It is an old crack so it won

    t fail anytime soon.
    The screwdriver points to the crack.
    There is
    48’
    of old
    5/8" barn hemp rope
    .
    The
    ends of the rope are braided just as they did in the old days.
    One end of the rope has a loop with a shackle, ring, and two
    18”
    chains with “S” hooks.
    One end of rope is nicely finished with a braid.
    These pulleys also were used in a hand dug wells to pull up buckets full of water.
    The rustic pulley cast iron has weathered nicely from years of rain and snow.
    The cast iron is nicely textured and lightly rusty.
    Some of the black paint has weathered off the pulley.
    The wheel has some play from use wear.
    The pulley wheel is 12" in diameter.
    The whole pulley and hook is 16 1/2" tall and 14 1/4

    wide across the fender.
    The rope groove is 7/8" wide.
