    Sale is for one piece of Petrified Wood dating all the way back to the Triassic Era, older than most dinosaurs, which appeared towards the end of this period. They come from
    Araucaria
    genus. This tree genus still exists to this day, having appeared before the first dinosaurs, and survived their extinction all the way to the present day in the form of monkey puzzle trees (also known as Chilean Pines). the detail of the bark on these fossiled branch pieces if amazing, and they are polished at one end to highlight the internal agatised wood structure.
