Vintage Barbie ~ Beautiful Halina's Doll Fashions ~ Gold One-Bow Ball Gown

This is a very rare gown by Halina's of Chicago! It is the One-Bow Gold Ball Gown in a wonderful luminescent fabric (lurex?) with metallic gold thread. It is called a One-Bow gown
because of the one large bow detail in back. There is a very similar Halina gown with two bows.  This gown is over-the-top gorgeous, with a huge skirt and bodice with lovely details.
The bodice has a sort of sweetheart neckline, with the two straps coming over the shoulders and down to the waist in back, leaving a daring bare back look. The very full skirt is pleated (possibly there are creases that were not originally intended, but I have not tried to do any kind of steaming, pressing,etc.  I like it the way it is! The back of the skirt has a huge "ribbon" in the same fabric that criss-crosses to make a bow. (To make this look its fullest and best, add
another petticoat under the one that is attached!)
The gown is in excellent condition, s
nap closure in back is intact.
Gown has a small seam repair at the waist in front. (See photos) There is a little fuzziness to couple of spots on the straps, really minor. These flaws are hardly noticeable on display. No other issues that I can see.
I
am including a lot of Mattel extras so you have a whole ensemble!  Included are the white stole with pink lining (needs a new eye for hook), white OT Japan shoes, faux pearl necklace (I think this is a repro necklace), long white gloves and gold dimple purse.
