Vintage nautical boat dead eye block pulley

Vintage nautical boat dead eye block pulley
salvaged antique wood 3-hole deadeye in shackle
appx 3.5" diameter,
finished with marine varnish to protect from the elements
Deadeyes are circular wood blocks, grooved around the circumference for line, with slotted holes though which line/lanyard is run, serving many of the same purposed block pulleys would have in rigging.
this one is salvage from  sailing oyster sloop from end of 1890's
